H.E.A.P. Home Energy Assistance Program
H.E.A.P. is a federally subsidized program administered by New York State. This program provides qualifying low income persons with assistance for normal non-emergency heating expenses.

S.H.E.A.P. Suffolk Heating Assistance Program
S.H.E.A.P. is a Suffolk County Program administered by The Suffolk County Department Of Social Services. This program provides qualifying low income persons with a one-time benefit of $300.00 to be used for qualifying heating expenses. Assistance is available to those who may be ineligible for H.E.A.P. Income thresholds are higher and home ownership does not automaticly disqualify an applicant. The program will run from February 15, 2006 through April 14, 2006.
